Small, tough, stipitate polypore with zonate brown cap.

Pileus: 20-40 mm across, flat to shallowly depressed, with a darker brown disc and paler tawny margin. Surface dry, finely velvety, and concentrically zonate in subtle brown bands. Margin even to slightly wavy, not striate. Flesh thin, coriaceous, and persistent.
Hymenophore: Poroid, not lamellate. Pores small, round to slightly elongated, pale brown to yellow‑brown, forming short tube layers typical of Coltricia. No bruising or colour change visible.
Stipe: Slender, 30 to 40 mm., Central, slender, dark brown, and tough. Surface fibrous, slightly shiny, and consistent with a woody texture.
