A very small, slate-grey forest waxgill with a consistently inrolled, estriate margin, distant decurrent gills, and a dry minutely fibrillose hygrophanous cap.

Pileus: 5-10 mm diam.; hemispherical when young, becoming plano-convex; margin estriate and always inrolled; colour slate grey with faint lilac tinge; surface dry, hygrophanous, minutely fibrillose.
Lamellae: arcuate to decurrent; concolorous with pileus; distant; edges even and concolorous.
Stipe: 15-30 x 2-3 mm; cylindrical, equal; whitish or greyish; dry; longitudinally fibrillose; stuffed; mostly single.
Context: greyish.
Odour/tast: not distinctive.
