A small, obpyramidal coral fungus with pallid cream-white branches and distinctly lavender-tinged young apices that fade to vinaceous-buff and cream. Flesh is watery.

Fruitbody: Slender, to 60 x 25 mm, obpyramidal in profile, repeatedly branched. Stipe single, to 23 x 6 mm, tapering downward, rounded at the base, sometimes with a few aborted branchlets; of-white; flesh watery except near the stipe, becoming soapy or slippery when rubbed.
Branch colour : 2 to several, arising at roughly the same level, to 4 mm thick, terete, ascending to erect. Colour pallid greyish yellow, axils narrowly rounded; internodes gradually diminishing.
Apices: Short, stout, cuspidate to dichotomous. When young, distinctly pallid lavender, later muting to vinaceous buff to cream buff with age.
Odour/taste: negligible.
