A tiny, delicate coral fungus with clear yellow apices and a tan to cinnamon stipe and branches, the colours shifting upward as the fruit body matures.

Fruitbody: up to 25 x 1 mm, slender, delicate, branched and arbuscular, arising from very small whitish mycelial patches.
Stipe: to 17 x 1.5 mm, clear golden yellow when young, becoming hysterochroic - slowly darkening to fleshy tan, ochraceous‑salmon, cinnamon, or rich vinaceous-cinnamon from the base upward. In mature specimens the darkening overtakes the branches so that only the apices remain yellow.
Branches: concolourous with the stipe, eventually hysterochroic, arranged in 2–3 ranks, less than 1 mm thick; axils rounded; internodes short and gradually diminishing.
Apices: clear yellow, slender and pointed.
Odour/taste: negligible.
