A small white collybioid species with a finely tomentose cap, sterile gill edge, 6–7-angled spores, and a cutis–trichoderm pileipellis.

Pileus: 10-35 mm wide, convex when young, later flattening and sometimes developing a shallow central depression. Margin initially deflexed, then straight. Colour pure white when fresh, slowly ageing to pale yellow‑ochre or pinkish tones. Surface finely tomentose, becoming radially fibrillose with age. Not hygrophanous and not translucently striate.
Lamellae: adnate, often emarginate with a distinct decurrent tooth; moderately distant; up to 6 mm deep; white, later pink; edge entire or slightly fimbriate, concolorous, and sterile.
Stipe: 20-30 x 2-3 mm, cylindrical, often broadened at the base; white to yellowish; innately fibrillose, giving a smooth, polished appearance; glabrous.
Odour/taste: indistinct or mildly pleasant. Taste mild.
