Pileus: 15-20 mm, at first hemispherical, soon convex to expanded with a slightly depressed centre. Colour isabel, buff, or pale argillaceous, paler toward the weakly translucent‑striate margin. Surface finely innate‑fibrillose throughout, thin, dry.
Lamellae: broadly adnate to subdecurrent with a short tooth, 16-24 reaching the stipe, with 1-3 lamellulae. Up to 2.5 mm wide. Initially pallid, gradually becoming pale pink with age. Edges entire, concolorous.
Stipe: 30-50 x 1-1.5(-2) mm, cylindrical, equal, slender and stiff. Colour pale blue to pale grey‑blue, with white basal mycelium. Surface smooth, dry, solid. Solitary.
Context: pale grey‑blue in pileus; pale ochre‑brown in stipe base.
Odour/taste: not distinctive.
