A small, yellow to orange-yellow club fungus described from Indonesia (Depok). Fruitbodies are slender, unbranched, and typically deeper in colour than the C. helvola group. True material appears restricted to tropical Southeast Asia; names applied elsewhere should be treated cautiously.

Fruitbodies: Slender, cylindrical, unbranched.
Apex: Rounded or slightly tapered; often distinctly brighter than the lower portion.
Colour: Deep yellow to orange‑yellow; sometimes with a slightly reddish or ochre tint in older specimens. Base paler or whitish.
Surface: Smooth, even, matte to faintly glossy.
Base: Narrow, sometimes slightly rooting into the substrate.
Flesh: Soft, flexible when fresh; dries brittle.
Size: 20-70 mm tall, 1-3 mm thick, unbranched.
Growth habit: Fruiting scattered or in small groups.
