A small, olive-brown to greenish-black cup fungus forming smooth, gelatinous apothecia on decaying wood in lowland podocarp forest. Hymenium darker than the outer surface. Apothecia scattered or in small groups.

Apothecia: 3-8 mm across; shallowly cup‑shaped to flattened; outer surface olive‑green; margin even or slightly lobed.
Hymenial: smooth, surface typical of discomycetes.
Stipe: Absent or very short; apothecia sessile on substrate.
Flesh: Thin, gelatinous to cartilaginous; olive‑coloured.
