This is yet another undescribed species, it always surprises me how a species so common can go unrecoreded for so long.

Cap: 15-40 mm, convex to plano-convex with age. Surface dry, finely velvety to coarsely fibrillose, sometimes with small appressed scales. Colour ranges from warm brown, yellow-brown, to orange-brown, occasionally with a reddish marginal tint. Margin even, not appendiculate, sometimes slightly paler.
Pores & Tubes: Pores small, round to angular, yellow to orange-yellow in youth. In older specimens, pores may deepen to orange-brown. Tube layer yellow, moderately thick. No visible blueing or reddening reaction in your material.
Stipe: Slender, 30-60 mm long, smooth to finely fibrillose. Colour yellow, yellow-brown, or orange-brown, often matching or slightly paler than the cap. No reticulation. Base sometimes slightly broadened; attached to soil-wood interface or mossy ground.
Flesh: Pale yellow to cream, firm. No colour change observed when cut or bruised.
