SPORANGIA: Sporocarpous to simple plasmodiocarpous, gregarious, laterally strongly compressed, constricted at the base,0.3-0.6 mm diam. wide.
HYPOTHALLUS: inconspicuous
STALK: absent.
PERIDIUM: double, the outer layer calcareous, crustose, bright yellow outside and white within, the inner layer membranous, whitish due to the sparse lime deposits, wrinkled and forming reticulations. Dehiscence along a preformed apical fissure.
COLUMELLA: absent.
CAPILLITIUM: reticulate, consisting of hyaline threads and rounded to somewhat angular white nodes. Spore-mass blackish brown.
