Neohygrocybe sp.
Herink
Description:
Interestingly, even though this collection has been sequenced, I have seen three different names given to it, so I won't be surprised if it changes again. Although it is a common species around Auckland, it seems to get overlooked. This species is not readily recognised as a waxgill due to its size and shape.
