Another of the more colourful Humidicutis species with a greenish/brown cap fading towards the striate margin with yellow gills. The stipe is orange at the top and fades to yellow at the base. In recent times, the concept of what H. luteovirens looks like has changed. There is now a green variant among these; see adjacent species.
