Gliophorus viridis
(Stevenson) Horak
Description:
Of the two green Gliophorus species, this is the most common found in the Auckland region and is recognised by the absence of cheilocystidia. Look at the edge of the gill with a hand lens; you should not be able to see any change in texture compared to the side of the gills. Like most Gliophorus, it has the typical yellow foot to the stipe.
