A Microglossum species that turns up from time to time but does not align with any described Northern Hemisphere species; as such, it is most likely an undescribed endemic species.

Fruitbody: 15-60 mm tall; club‑shaped to tongue‑like, often slightly flattened or grooved. Head portion smooth, narrowly clavate to subcylindrical, 5-15 mm long.
Colour: Variable, warm brown to ochre‑brown, sometimes slightly darker toward the apex
Stipe: paler, often yellow-brown to honey‑brown near the base, smooth or faintly pruinose, 1.5-2.5 mm thick, gradually merging with the fertile head.
Texture: soft‑fleshy when fresh, drying darker and more brittle.
Flesh: Thin, pale brown.
Odour/taste: Not distinctive.
