Gallacea is a genus of hypogeous to subepigeous, truffle-like fungi in the Hysterangiales, producing globose to irregular, thick-peridiate basidiomata with a central gelatinous, dendroid columella. The gleba is olive to brown, composed of minute, anastomosing locules that often expand into large schizogenous cavities at maturity.
