A striking green-yellow Entoloma with fibrillose pileus and slender green stipe, fading to yellow with age.

Pileus: 5-20 mm, convex to depressed or subumbilicate, finally expanded. Colour deep green when young, fading to yellow toward the strongly striate margin. Surface dry, hygrophanous, covered with concolorous squamules or fibrils.
Lamellae: 24-32 reaching stipe, 1-3 lamellulae, adnate to emarginate‑decurrent, moderately distant, beige‑greenish at first, turning pink with age, edges entire and concolorous.
Stipe: 25-40 x 1-2 mm, cylindrical, slender, deep green to yellow‑green, with white basal mycelium, glabrous, dry, fistulose, solitary.
Context: green‑yellow.
Odour/taste: not distinctive.
