A striking golden Telamonia, extremely common in Nothofagus forest, recognised by its evenly saturated yellow to apricot-brown cap, dry and hygrophanous, often white-frosted or micaceous when young.

Cap: 20-50 mm diam.; dry, hygrophanous; colour evenly saturated yellow to yellow‑brown or apricot‑brown, later slightly darker on the disc. Surface matt, white‑frosted to finely micaceous when young; margin with a white rim in youth, not striate.
Lamellae: Colour pale grey to pale cinnamon; edges somewhat paler. Attachment adnate; spacing moderate.
Stipe: Cylindrical to slightly tapering; white with thin white girdles, vaguely staining yellow‑brown with age. Surface dry; cortina white. Veil white, usually sparse, occasionally fairly copious in young specimens.
Context: Pale yellow to almost white.
Odour/taste: Odour faint, pleasant. Taste nil.
