A rare, undescribed Cortinarius from Myrtaceae forest, characterised by a smooth brown to reddish-brown cap with a pale lilac-tinted rim, and a pale lilac-tinted stipe, with a slender habit. Known from only a few collections.

Pileus: 25-50 mm diam., convex to broadly convex, sometimes slightly depressed in age. Surface smooth, moist to viscid, brown to reddish‑brown, often with a paler margin. Colour stable; not strongly hygrophanous.
Lamellae: Adnate to adnexed, moderately spaced, pale brown to mid‑brown, darkening with age. Edges even.
Stipe: 30-80 x 4-8 mm, slender, cylindrical, pale lilac to lilac‑brown, often with a stronger lilac flush near the apex. Surface smooth to finely fibrillose; with faint lilac tones. No bulb
Veil / Cortina: Cortina present but very sparse and fugacious, leaving no persistent ring zone.
Odour/taste: Odour not recorded.
