A small, vividly cinnabar‑red Telamonia with a dry, non‑hygrophanous, fibrillose‑innate cap, testaceous‑red to orange‑brown lamellae, and a very long, deeply rooting yellow stipe often showing orange‑red fringes when young.

Cap: 25-40 mm diam.; dry, not hygrophanous; rounded, later convex to campanulate. Colour intense orange‑red to cinnabar, finely innate‑fibrillose. Surface smooth, vivid, and opaque; margin even.
Lamellae: Colour testaceous‑red to orange‑brown when young, darker than the veil. Attachment adnate; spacing moderately crowded (L = 40, l = 2). Edges concolorous, even.
Stipe: 70-120 x 6-10 mm, very long, deeply rooting. Colour yellow to grey‑yellow, often partly covered with orange‑red fringes in young basidiomes. Surface dry; cortina yellow, fugacious. Veil orange‑red, fairly copious.
Context: Yellow, fragile.
Odour/taste: Absent.

Older fruiting body's after rain has washed much of there colour out.
