A slender, unbranched club fungus with pink to reddish-pink colouring, often deeper at the tip and paler toward the base. Fruitbodies smooth, cylindrical, and delicate. Usually scattered or in small groups on soil or litter in moist forest.

Colour: dull rosy pink all over. Club opaque, appearing waxy.
Form: cylindrical, sometimes slightly flattened or tapered, Surface smooth, matte to slightly glossy.
Size: 20-70 mm tall, 1-3 mm thick.
Growth habit: gregarious to fasciculate in groups of up to 25 individuals.
Stipe: concolorous with club, differing only in subglabrous texture.
