A small, pale to bright yellow club fungus forming scattered to gregarious clusters on soil or moss. Although originally described from the Caribbean, similar collections occur across warm‑temperate and subtropical regions. New Zealand records are uncertain and may represent misapplied names within the Clavulinopsis helvola complex.

Fruitbodies: Slender, cylindrical, unbranched clubs.
Apex: Rounded to slightly tapered; sometimes minutely translucent at the tip.
Colour: Pale yellow to bright lemon‑yellow; often deeper toward the apex, paler or whitish at the base.
Surface: Smooth, matte to slightly glossy; flesh soft and flexible when fresh.
Base: Narrow, sometimes slightly thickened or whitish where attached to substrate.
Size: 20-60 mm tall and 1-3 mm thick.
