Plants in this family are medium-sized, creeping, dark green. Stems elongated, irregularly branched, with short spreading branches, densely tomentose in older parts.		Genus

Species: Racopilum convolutaceum (C. Muell.) Reichdt. The stems are creeping and interwoven to form dense mats. with the calyptra been coved it hairs.
Habitat: Bark, rotting wood, soil and rock. Width: 5 mm	Distribution: Throughout New Zealand. Length: To 100 mm
