Family Hookeriaceae

The Hookeriaceae family are mosses of wet forest, most having large rounded leaves and easily mistaken for liverworts. They fooled me till I came across one with capsules.		Genus

Habitat: Leaf litter, rotten wood and rock. Width: 10 mm	Distribution: Widespread in New Zealand. Length: 20 mm to 40 mm
